CO-OWNERSHIP SCHEME
As panel members of NICOHA, Keown Solicitors can help you if you are thinking of buying a house through co-ownership. NICOHA run the co-ownership scheme for Northern Ireland. It helps people get on the property ladder, even if they can't afford a full mortgage.
You can start with a stake in your home of 50% to 90%, which over time you can increase. 75% of purchasers increase their stake in this way, with most of them leaving co-ownership completely by buying out the co-owner's share.
